Er. Megha Gupta

Er. Megha Gupta awarded Mtech Digital communication in 2012. She has reach experience in teaching and research. She is having 11+ yrs of total experience. She has published more than 21 research papers in various national and international journals and conferences. Her area of research interest are mobile ad Hoc network, digital and wireless communication , image processing. She has Life time member of Indian Society for Technical Education(ISTE). She has Worked as organizing convener in AICTE sponsored national conference ETEEE. The Qualility and the growth is the motto of the department and discipline is its keyword.

HOD's Message

Welcome to the department of electronics and communication engineering at Lakshmi Narain College of Technology & Science (LNCTS) Indore. The department is located in a sprawling environment with a state of art facilities and highly qualified faculty. The department works with the objective of addressing critical challenges faced by the Industry, society and the academia. Perhaps even more important is our unceasing commitment to our students, helping them to learn, grow, develop, and achieve their goals in their pursuit to excel in their professional career.

Electronics & Communication Engineering deals with the electronic devices, circuits, communication equipments like transmitter, receiver, integrated circuits (IC). It also deals with basic electronics, analog and digital transmission & reception of data, voice and video (Example AM, FM, DTH), microprocessors, satellite communication, microwave engineering, antennae and wave progression. It aims to deepen the knowledge and skills of the students on the basic concepts and theories that will equip them in their professional work involving analysis, systems implementation, operation, production, and maintenance of the various applications in the field of Electronics and Communications Engineering.

The graduates of the Electronics & Communication Stream have been selected by some of the world’s leading corporations & as well as by most of the leading Indian counter parts.
We hope that we will continue to deliver our best to serve the society and mankind. It is also expected and that our students will continue to pass-on the skills which they have developed during their stay at this department to whole of the world for a better society. The of Lakshmi Narain College of Technology & Science ( RIT ) Indore  was established in 2002 at Indore, is a pioneer in the field of education in this metropolitan city. Bachelor of Engineeringin Electronics and communication Stream is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Technical University (RGTU), Bhopal, Approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the statutory body of the Govt. of India. The Department of Electronics Engineering is continuously striving to achieve excellence in education, academic and industry oriented research as well as consultancy work with service to the society. We aim to provide our students with a perfect blend of intellectual and practical experiences that helps them to serve our society and address a variety of needs. At the end of our program, students are prepared for entry-level work as an Electronics engineer as well as for the post-graduate study in Electronics & communication engineering or in another discipline, where a fundamental engineering background constitutes a desirable foundation. Academic course work and projects are designed to endow students with the ability to apply knowledge of science, mathematics, and engineering, and the capability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, providing leadership and technical expertise.

What does an Electronics & Communication Engineer do?

All of the applications which make our life easier and enjoyable such as Television, Radio, Computers, Mobiles etc. are designed and developed by Electronics and Communication Engineers

  1. Design and maintain satellites, which bring TV, telephone and Internet service into remote and rural regions
  2. ECE Engineers also creates advanced communication facilities like video conferencing which bring people together from all over the world
  3. Develops programs for various control and communication systems

Opens up great career prospects for the students. The students after completion of the degree can easily avail job opportunities in manufacturing industries and service organizations such as broadcasting, consulting, data communication, entertainment, research and development; and system support. The department is famous for its effective teaching methodology and practical exposure to the students. It is one of the well furnished departments of LNCT Group of Colleges with well equipped labs and highly qualified faculty members and state-of-art equipment The department has six classrooms equipped with LCD projectors. The department also 30 computer systems, one printer that are networked and Internet facilities are provided for System. The classrooms are well ventilated and furnished with white board, white screen and LCD projector. Departmental library, Seminar Hall & one common Hall on each floor of the building are the highlights of the department.

Students of Electronics & communication Engineering Department have achieved distinguished performance in exams conducted by RGPV. Many students have succeeded in national level competitive exams like GATE. Faculty members have made significant contribution in research knowledge by publishing research articles in International/National Journals/Conferences.

Various industrial visits are organized for the students for enhancing their practical knowledge and skill and provide Industrial exposure. The department also facilitates different co curricular activities like seminar, events, guest lecturers for faculty and staff development and personality development of students. The students regularly participate in indoor and outdoor games under guidance of qualified instructor.
