HOD Profile

Mr. Mukesh Dole

I feel delighted to introduce you to Department of Mechanical Engineering, which is the foundation of Engineers. Department of Mechanical Engineering strives for increasing the knowledge, attractive the significant thinking, ability to change information into knowledge and power of analyzing the things technically of each and every individual of ever changing society through students.

We always aim to impart knowledge through a closed unite family of highly competent faculty. Department of Mechanical Engineering plays a essential role in an engineering college catering to the teaching of Mechanical engineering students.

Our Laboratories have been very well commissioned not only to cover complete syllabus but to encourage students to learn beyond the syllabus which certainly develops complete knowledge of the subject (both the practical and theoretical depth of knowledge) and build up skill sets of students to become promising engineers in future.

Conferences, Symposiums, Workshops and Seminars on emerging technologies and scientific topics are conducted regularly. Industrial tours and training of the students are part of our curriculum. The department lays down high emphasis on the development of faculty and introduces programmes for improving the teaching and learning processes.

The teaching-learning process comprises digital class-room teaching, along with tutorials, practical’s, seminars, viva-voce, projects and also series of audio visual CD are available for various subjects delivered by IIT/NIT professors. The main goal is to get direct help and support regarding the academics, projects and thesis work.

While managing this increased industrial requirements which is an urgent need of the nation, department is committed to well being and all round development of its students.

I wish a very best of luck to the students.

Bachelor of Engineering In Mechanical Stream is Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Technical University (RGTU), Bhopal, Approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the statutory body of the Govt. of India. The Department of Mechanical Engineering is continuously striving to achieve excellence in education, academic and industry oriented research as well as consultancy work with service to the society. We aim to provide our students with a perfect blend of intellectual and practical experiences that helps them to serve our society and address a variety of needs. At the end of our program, students are prepared for entry-level work as a mechanical engineer as well as for the post-graduate study in mechanical engineering or in another discipline, where a fundamental engineering background constitutes a desirable foundation. Academic course work and projects are designed to endow students with the ability to apply knowledge of science, mathematics, and engineering, and the capability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, providing leadership and technical expertise. With a solid grounding in the principles and practice of mechanical engineering, our undergraduates are ready to engage in ethical approaches to engineering, with concern for society and the environment.

Mechanical engineering is the second largest engineering discipline and one of the oldest. Mechanical engineers apply the principles of mechanics and energy to the design of machines and devices. Mechanical engineers are involved with the design of structures, operation and maintenance of mechanical systems.
